Alden is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC).
He received his MA in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine from Boston University’s School of Medicine in 2020. Prior to obtaining his master’s degree, Alden attended Providence College, where he earned a BA in psychology with a neuroscience certificate in 2018. Alden has worked in the field of mental health counseling and substance use treatment in a variety of settings, including partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, 1:1 therapy, and emergency services. He has a special interest in working with the LGBTQ+ community.
Alden works with adults struggling with a wide range mental health disorders and substance use disorders. Alden believes in looking at all individuals through a holistic lens and works closely with his clients to tailor their treatment to meet their specific needs. Alden believes the therapeutic relationship is the foundation for empowering clients to make changes in their lives.
