As a clinical therapist working with children and adolescents, family, and individual therapy, Melanie has a focus on person-centered therapy approaches. Emphasizing empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness in therapeutic relationships. This approach allows Melanie to tailor her interventions to each client’s specific needs and preferences, empowering them to actively participate in their healing journey. With a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johnson & Wales University, she has experience in understanding and addressing the unique psychological and emotional needs of young individuals and families. Melanie believes in empowering clients to build resilience and develop coping strategies that promote long-term well-being. Whether working with children facing developmental challenges, adolescents navigating the complexities of adolescence, or adults facing mental health challenges, Melanie approaches each client with empathy and respect.
